PRODUCT · ROUND UP
Most providers shuffle existing tips through a tronc and call it a day. Round Up uses gentle, psychology at the point of payment to lift the average tip — so your team takes home more without you spending a penny. RoundUp comes as standard on our terminals, at no extra cost, but at massive gain to you and your staff.
"Round up. Give more."

WHY ROUND UP
A bill for £47.20 used to round up to £50 in cash. Then we all stopped carrying cash. Round Up brings that habit back — digitally, at the moment of payment, with zero friction for the customer or your team. We lean into rounding slightly higher than a set barrier (say 10%), to the nearest £5 increment. So that £47.20 becomes £55, taking the tip from £2.80, to £7.80! Small, but these changes can REALLY add up!
Bigger average tips
Customers prompted to round up tip — and round-up amounts add up across thousands of transactions. The compound effect of this can be quite impressive, with happier staff earning more.
One tap, no awkwardness
The customer sees a single rounded number on the terminal or QR screen. Tap to confirm, done. No fiddling with percentages, calculators or dual input. No maths, just results.
Goes to the team, not the till
Round-up amounts route through the tronc the same way ordinary tips do. Fully covered by our compliance work for the Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act and HMRC regulations. This means not only are you gaining more tips for staff, but your business isn’t paying NIC on them, nor is your staff. The bigger question is, knowing this, can you afford to not have this feature?
HOW IT WORKS
Built into the payment flow your customers already use.
Round Up appears at the moment a customer is already preparing to pay — on the card terminal, the table-side QR code, (coming soon). It doesn't add a process, it uses an existing one.

SAVINGS CALCULATOR
How much is round-up worth to your team?
Pop in your numbers. The calculator below gives a rough monthly and annual figure — based on a 15% uplift. Real lifts vary by sector and venue, but could be as much as 30%!*
NIC savings + RoundUp uplift
Based on UK NIC rates from April 2025: 15% employer, 8% employee. RoundUp uplift assumes a realistic 15% lift on tip volume.
*RoundUp may increase the tip pool by as much as 30%; we use a fairer 15% for this assessment. Indicative figures only — RoundUp may over or underperform depending on your venue. Platform and processing costs still apply.
From Tony
The honest version: 15% is a sensible planning number, we can't guarantee you will get more tips, but it's a simple and effective way to ask for more, without being heavy handed. Either way, it's the closest thing in this industry to free money (Just please don't tell your customers we called it that!)
More for your team. Nothing from you.
