WHY THIS MATTERS
Other tipping platforms include their own PAYE service. They market it as "all-in-one" but in practice it pulls payroll work away from the accountant. We took a different decision early on. We can offer an end to end, but would prefer not to cut you out. We feel working in partnerships grows far better longevity, and helps all parties win together, hence we do things differently.
You keep the payroll
Tip4 outputs the tronc allocation; your software (Sage, IRIS, Xero, whatever you use) processes the PAYE. We pass you what you need to file; you do what you've always done.
You earn the referral
Recurring referral fees on every client signed. Transparent commercial terms. No commitment to volume — refer one client a year or fifty, your choice.
Your client gets stronger compliance
EATA, HMRC E24, ERA 2025 — all handled. Your client's audit position improves; yours does too because the tronc paperwork is clean.
Integrations you can't get yourselves
We will over time grow our network of integrations into accountancy, payroll, and EPOS/PMS software. Accountants aren't normally tech businesses, let us do the heavy lifting and let you stick to your field of expertise. There is no need for us to compete, we all want the same goal.

Some of our biggest competitors quietly compete with you for the PAYE work. Many also ignore the SMEs, the core of both your business, our business, and the UK economy.
